Dunn Residence - Outside
When Peter reached out about ‘painting the back of his house’ I typically assumed it would single or double storey house - not a 3 storey warehouse turned into a home and work of art itself - or full of one of the best art collections that I’ve seen. With David Bromley painting the front, I was humbled for the opportunity to paint the back of the building.
As the old internal stairwell of the building was kept as part exterior design it presented some difficulties with access for that inner return area - but nothing some scaffold, determination and bit of excitement couldn’t fix.
The mural got buzz around Brisbane - and picked up by The Australian Newspaper and featured in their ‘Mansion Australia’ Magazine. Big thanks once again to Peter and Luisa for the trust and opportunity for this - and also getting me back for the inside.
