DEATHPROOF
Deathproof was a dream of mine - and a dynamic, creative-driven dive-bar. I built and designed it from scratch and painted damn near every surface of the venue - from floor to ceiling (literally) from the front right through to the very back.
The Brisbane venue was a fusion of my love of art and design, inspiration from all of my favourite bars from all over the world and well, everything I just wanted in a bar - but with a unique concept - focus and speciality was creating unique and fun branded events & activations.
Deathproof to me, it was a bar but also a work of art and ‘work in progress’ as it would constantly be updated as idea’s came to me - or when it would be completely rebranded every month to align with our new activation - which included repainting the main wall, introducing new menu’s and offerings - and a launch party to boot It was alot of work and alot of fun …maybe even too much.
This recap shows some of my favourites from the venue and events - including the farewell activation (where I let everyone in the bar paint) and then the mural I did at local bar ‘Tomcat’ which is where we took over and had our after party.
