I met up and painted with local artist Enka on our last day in Bogotá.

⁣⁣I didn’t know him prior but saw his work all over the hood where we were staying and loved it. Ironically enough, he actually followed me and reached out on the day before we left - which was how the paint came about in the first place. What made it even more ironic, was the place that Enka suggested we painted was actually below where we were staying…. crazy.

Anywho, being our last night in town before leaving for Medellin the next day, Jase and I went out and painted the town. I wish I didn’t because the 2 or so hours sleep that I had was nowhere near enough and my head was POUNDING - which was unusual for me. What wasn’t unusual is things going from bad to worse - which is exactly what happened…

I forget the name but can distinctly remember it being very joyous occasion where it seemed like the entire city would drive, ride and down the street, cheering, yelling, singing and BEEPING their horns - and I’m not exaggerating It was a once a year thing and literally happened behind us about 15 minutes after we started and finishing as we were. I. Could. Not. Believe. It. Anyways, I survived - but the local favourite, fish head soup for breakfast almost did me over though…
